The Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra is based in the Bay Area, and plays Baroque music on period instruments.
Being somewhat of a podcaster or audio buff myself, I was given the opportunity to interview some of the members of the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. My very first interview was with the conductor of the orchestra, Nicholas McGegan, who had some really interesting things to say about the music that the orchestra plays, and music in general. For the second episode I talked with clarinettist Eric Hoeprich who actually constructed his own clarinet based on an engraving from a Mozart concert program.
