BowlerDerby is my personal site. It was the second domain I ever owned, and was created in November of 2005. Since then it has been through four different versions, the last of which was one of the first websites I ever coded by hand in April 2006. Since then I have been coding all of the websites I create by hand, using XHTML and CSS.
BowlerDerby serves as a site where I can share my photos, videos, websites, and blog posts with the world. There are actually two versions of the BowlerDerby website. There is the English version, and the French version. Users can switch between the two using the flag icons on the top left of the site which I created myself.
The design of the site was a result of a decision that it was due for a redesign, and a layout brainstorming session on paper during an episode of The Simpsons. After I had my initial design, I transferred it into a preliminary digital mockup, and refined it as I went along.

The Blog page on BowlerDerby. This section has a different design and feel to it than the rest of the site. I felt that that kind of separated it from the rest of the website, and thus allows it to function as a functional website in and of itself.
